Rock Cancer
Rock Cancer is the primary annual fundraiser for the Spierings Cancer Foundation. The event is held in late summer each year and is a day-long celebration of life and music and fun. Adults and children all enjoy a fun day of food, drink, games, raffle, silent auction, and of course music!
Rock Cancer Event 2011
Date: August 20, 2011, from 1:00 p.m. to midnight
Where: Doyle Park in Little Chute, WI
Cost: $5.00 to purchase a wrist band, which gets you in to see and hear all the music.
Wrist bands can be purchased at the following locations: Vanderloop Shoes, Seth's Coffee, BLC Bank, Kings Variety and all Propara Credit Union locations (Appleton, Darboy, Neenah).
Cancer Dedication Screen Send us a photo of your loved one who is fighting cancer, a survivor of cancer, or has passed on from cancer.
You may include a short message (such as "In Memory of" or "5 year survivor" send photos to rockcancerpictures@gmail.com attn: Cathy Van Deurzen

SCF Opportunities
Ever thought about volunteering for a nonprofit organization, but aren’t sure what you could do? Do you have a few extra hours every once in a while and wonder if there were something you could do to help the fight against cancer? The Spierings Cancer Foundation is in need of volunteers for our Rock Cancer event and we have lots of exciting volunteer opportunities that are fun and easy, and take only an hour or two of your time.
Below are a few ideas to get you started, but this isn’t an exhaustive list. If you have other ideas, please share them. We also believe volunteering should be fun. So we encourage you to volunteer for something that you enjoy, that fits your skill set, or even something you would like to learn more about.
