Host Your Own Fundraiser
Many individuals and organizations come to the Spierings Cancer Foundation wanting to help by raising money for our efforts and programs. They may be as simple as an individual collecting donations from friends or saving their spare change to a group organizing a full-scale fundraiser and donating the proceeds to us.
Whether it is a company who’s entire staff wants to volunteer or one person who wants to give something of themselves, here are a few ideas that can be implemented with little or no cost and effort to anyone looking for a way to raise funds for the Spierings Cancer Foundation. Corporate Events/Fundraising Ideas
Companies like to get their employees involved in events that help the community. Cancer is something that affects everyone. These are some ideas that companies can use to bring cancer awareness to their employees, promote good health, encourage teamwork, and benefit the Spierings Cancer Foundation all at the same time.
Please notify us in advance of your event so that we may provide you with materials, send a representative to talk about the organization, or order special items such as shirts or buttons.
Events/Fundraising Ideas for Individuals or Small Groups
You can do just about anything to help raise money for cancer, but when it comes to individuals, we recommend you do what you are best at, and make it fun. These are some ideas that anyone can do to benefit the Spierings Cancer Foundation and have fun doing it.
The following are some of the upcoming events to help support our mission.
- Wisconsin Strongman competitors will be raising money for the Spierings Cancer Foundation
- Rock Cancer Blood Drive
- Rock Cancer Day at the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers
- Donate blood the week of Aug 12th -19th at Little Chute location (Next to Piggly Wiggly main Street) or Appleton 4406 West Spenser Street.
- Mention you are giving blood for Rock Cancer and receive a free entry bracelet into Rock Cancer.
- Wednesday Aug 17th from 4:00pm - 8:00pm we will be holding a brat, hamburger fry at Piggly Wiggly next to the LIttle Chute Community blood Center location.
- Donate for a loved one battling cancer.
